  Our rooms were really lovely.

 This was Allen's favorite store.

 We stopped in Venice for a day, and took in an exhibit of Manet paintings at the Doge's palace.

Wine and pizza for lunch - how cliched!!

 

We drove from Italy up to Vienna, and passed through the Alps.  Luckily, we had a gorgeous day and could see for miles. Impressive!

 The public gardens in front of the Hofburg were in full bloom.

When we landed at Logan on our return, there was a beautiful double rainbow to mark the end of a fantastic vacation! (You can faintly see the double in the upper left corner - but in person, they were complete arcs and totally visible!)
