My Take on D-Otto's Potato Dumplings


 



Used 2 big potatoes, one Yukon Gold, one Russet. About 2/3 Cup of flour.

I had no assistant, so I mixed the croutons (Target sourdough bread) with the grated potatoes. I also did not use a pillowcase.

I  boiled three as a test.

They seemed to disintegrate a bit when I put them in the water, so I got nervous and get more flour into my original mix.

But then the disintegration stopped, the potatoes were very good, though a bit flour-y.

So I decided to flatten the rest, added more salt and pepper. Then bake them (total 9) at 375F for 30 minutes. So good!
